Chicago Dizziness and Hearing (CDH) is a private medical practice affiliated with Northwestern University.
We are not located at Northwestern Hospital, but we are very close.
We specialize in diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and hearing disorders. We also see many patients with headaches including migraine. We are happy to see complex patients.
Due to the Covid-19 situation and the Illinois "Shelter in Place" restrictions, we are taking extra precautions and deferring some of our usual thorough testing. We are also using much more telemedicine for follow-up patients. We are seeing low-risk new patients in a normal fashion. We are offering new high-risk patients (i.e. older patients) options for abbreviated evaluations to get the diagnostic thought process and treatment trials going. As we have moved much of our return patient volume to telemedicine, there are fewer other patients that might be encountered if you visit us in person.
CDH provides evaluations and treatment from two otoneurologists (Dr. Hain and Dr. Cherchi),and an neuro-optometrist who treats visual vertigo and PPPD (Dr. Sorenson). We offer a full repertoire of hearing and vestibular tests as well. Usually we can get the diagnostic process over in one day.
Scheduling can be arranged through email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone (312-274-0197). If you want a sooner appointment, please make sure you have completed the questionnaire so we can put you on the waiting list.
Please fill out and return a questionnaire to us at least one week prior to your initial visit.
