Chicago Dizziness and Hearing's Database

Chicago Dizziness and Hearing has a gigantic clinical database containing about 25,000 patient records going back to 1990, mainly concerning conditions including dizziness. To faciliate our research, we have developed query tools to explore this database, and we are now beginning to update pages on our dizziness-and-hearing disorder site with the aggregate results. We often have about 10 times the patients with particular diagnoses reported by others in the literature.

For those who are technically inclined, this database is hosted on open sourced "mysql". We collect our diagnoses, as well as test results, and we can easily use this to answer questions like -- how many patients with the diagnosis of "Meniere's" disease, also are diagnosed with "Migraine" ?

We hope that this effort will improve care for patients with dizziness and hearing disorders in general.
